Thanks so much xian!

DM - I love your comments. And if I can ever get a team of programmers and room of servers dedicated to automating the algorithms in my head I think I might get a little closer to black box'ing a solution that would address our respective views on the world...though that might imply compromise and grey and I tend to believe in grey much more so than absolutes, so perhaps there is an oxymoronic conundrum implict in the statement.

Either way at 5.50AM, I am sure it's either too late or too early to be discussing this...who among is up at this hour...Phil?

I love your writing. Though just one comment: the way I look at the universe is very black and white. It's either everything, the market incl. is completely random or not at all. Being that I'm more for the latter than the former, I can't believe in noise. Because if you do, then it's impossible to separate noise from actual sequenced events.

Filters are rules to govern what noise is, and how to discriminate against it. But if there are rules to what makes up noise, then it's not random at all. And if it's not random, it's exploitable.

If you could figure out "Why did this happen", then maybe the opportunities that are available would come in focus.
