Advanced Auto Parts Misses Estimates (AAP)

Advanced Auto Parts (NYSE: AAP) released its first quarter earnings results on Wednesday after the closing bell. The company reported net income of $109.58 million or $1.35 per share, compared to $109.43 million or $1.19 per share in the year ago period. This came in below analysts’ consensus EPS estimates of $1.37 per share.

Total sales for the quarter were up 3.7% to $1.90 billion versus $1.83 billion in last year’s corresponding quarter. This also came in below analysts’ consensus revenue expectations of $1.92 billion.

Advanced Auto Parts (AAP) reiterated their full year guidance for earnings per share between $4.60 and $4.80. Wall Street analysts currently have full year EPS estimates of $4.69 for AAP.

In the after hours trading session, AAP shares are down 7.27% to $65.52.
