Autoliv, Inc. (NYSE: ALV) shares are plunging on heavy volume, down almost 10%, as the company is still being probed by the Department of Justice and the European Commission about antitrust issues.

The Swedish-based company said this morning that its operating results and cash flows could be affected by the outcomes of the probes on both sides of the Atlantic.

Both agencies are looking into whether there was potentially anti-competitive behavior among certain suppliers to the automotive vehicle industry, of which Autoliv is specifically named.

At last check, shares of Autoliv were off $7.50 to $72.27, a loss of 9.40%.
