Facebook and Hulu to Announce New Venture -NY Post

Facebook and Hulu are expected to announce a strengthening of their ties at the F8 developer conference next week, according to the New York Post. Details of the venture have not been announced, but it may involve allowing users to share video content.

The Facebook-Hulu partnership could also be another setback for Netflix, whose CEO Reed Hastings is on Facebook’s board. Hulu offers free content, making it more suitable for content sharing, while Netflix is a subscription site, making it more difficult to integrate.
