A number of prominent companies released their quarterly earnings results on Tuesday after the closing bell. These included Intuitive Surgical (NASDAQ: ISRG), Yahoo! (NASDAQ: YHOO), Intel (NASDAQ: INTC), IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Seagate Technology (NYSE: STX). All of these names have been very active during Wednesday’s trading session.
ISRG reported EPS of $3.50 versus analysts’ consensus of $3.15. Revenues were up 27.6% year over year. On Wednesday, ISRG has added 8.29% to $590.75.
YHOO reported EPS of $0.23 versus analysts’ estimates of $0.17. Revenues increased 1.2% year over year. The stock has climbed 2.81% to $15.43 during the trading session.
INTC reported EPS of $0.56 versus Street estimates of $0.53. Revenues fell 0.5% year over year. The stock has fallen 1.79% to $27.96 on the day.
IBM reported EPS of $2.78 versus analysts’ estimates of $2.63. Revenues were down 0.4% year over year. IBM shares have shed 3.27% on Wednesday.
STX reported EPS of $2.64 versus Street estimates of $2.10. Revenues soared 65.1% versus last year. Shares have risen 5.31% to $29.37 on the session.
