Corporate Office Properties Trust (NYSE: OFC) announced that subsequent to the first quarter 2012, it sold two buildings and land in Rockville, MD, for net proceeds after closing costs and adjustments of approximately $48.7 million. The buildings, known as Rockville Corporate Center, totaled approximately 222,000 square feet and were 100% leased at the time of sale. The buildings were constructed in the late 1980s.
Since the beginning of 2012, COPT has sold a total of $116.9 million of properties and adjacent land containing approximately 537,000 operational square feet, realizing net proceeds of $109.7 million.
