U.K. looking good as services sector maintains strong growth

U.K. services PMI fell to 58.8 in December (flash 60) from 60 in November, but the sector still grew strongly.
Confidence is at the highest level since March 2010, employment continues to rise at a marked pace, and the growth of new orders was very strong, suggesting that the fun will continue into 2014.
Looking back to 2013, the data indicates that U.K. GDP may have grown 1.9%, the best since 2007.
The FTSE 100 is flat, while the pound is -0.5% at $1.6340. (PR)
