The rule in USA is if you don't need an IV you don't need to be in a hospital. Once I was sent home after one night with a catheter and bag to empty. Last 3 or 4 times I or a friend took out the staples and stiches. They give ,if they remember, a disposable kit. GOP says best health care in the world! World says USA not in the top 10.
