Jobless benefits / Phil – I guess not much talking about that on CNBC… While there are still many more people looking for jobs than actual jobs as businesses are getting leaner and richer, some people in Congress still think that it will help the job market because who wants to look for a job when you live large on $200/week! This could actually have a negative impact on GDP and jobs (I guess a good thing before the election but maybe I am being cynical). I actually wonder why companies like Wal-Mart don't scream bloody murder because they'll be losing customers.
Of course, I don't know why many of these jobless people don't do what Romney advised and borrow money from their parents to start a business. I mean, most people have a spare $100K they can lend their kids.
