    Movie ticket prices slip in Q1 on 3D mix

    • Movie ticket prices fell 4.7% to an average of $7.96 a ticket in Q1, according data release by the National Association of Theater Owners.
    • The decline came with the quarter on the light side of 3D titles.
    • Last year, ticket prices rose 2.1% to $8.13.
