F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV) fiscal third quarter beat consensus views on strong demand for its business software products.
Adjusted income grew more than 18 percent to $104.6 million, or $1.39 a share, from $88.4 million or $1.12 a share in the third quarter of last year.
Revenue increased 19 percent to $440.3 million from $370.3 million a year earlier.
Wall Street was expecting adjusted earnings of $1.35 a share, on revenue of $435.07 million.
The company forecast fourth-quarter adjusted earnings of $1.46 to $1.49 a share, on revenue of $453 million to $463 million.
Analysts predict earnings of $1.45 a share on revenue of $455.83 million.
