Shares of Monster Beverage Corp (NASDAQ: MNST) are trading higher following rumors that the company has asked the court to squash subpoenas related to its energy drink marketing practices by the New York Attorney General.
The stock, which had been trading lower, got a pop on the news, with shares higher by 0.33 percent at $89.51; shares of Sodastream International Ltd (NASDAQ: SODA) were also up 2.9 percent in sympathy.
