Health Care REIT (NYSE: HCN) fell 3.62% to $64.08 in pre-market trading after the company announced a proposed offering of 15.5 million shares of common stock.

Achillion Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ACHN) shares slipped 3.47% to $12.23 in pre-market trading after rising 0.48% on Thursday.

Randgold Resources (NASDAQ: GOLD) shares dipped 1.07% to $75.84 in pre-market trading. Gold futures fell 0.10% to trade at $1,237.70 an ounce.

CBS (NYSE: CBS) dropped 1.05% to $57.52 in pre-market trading after gaining 0.85% on Thursday.
