Having rather dramatically failed to quell the emotions of America’s unemployed youth last night, as all across the nation, it appears Michael Brown’s father’s emotional outburst to “burn this bitch down” trumped the President’s appeal that “protests should be peaceful,” Obama is pivoting rapidly to another raging success – Immigration Reform.
President Obama is due to speak at 535ET (plan accordingly)

Of course, we suspect he will be forced to address the collapse of his nation’s morale
With 2,200 National Guard in Ferguson, and police forces across the nation likely on double-alert, we wonder if tonight’s address will be more threats (of arrest and martial law) than promises (of national dialog). Perhaps Al Sharpton’s earlier analogy to last night’s actions as merely Round 1 in a long fight was not so helpful after all…
Some highlights from last night’s Ferguson address
- *OBAMA SAYS GRAND JURY DECISION MUST BE ACCEPTED
- *OBAMA SAYS THERE WILL BE SOME ‘NEGATIVE REACTION’
- *OBAMA SAYS PROTESTS OF DECISION SHOULD BE PEACEFUL
- *OBAMA SAYS ‘THIS IS AN ISSUE FOR AMERICA’
- *OBAMA SAYS SITUATION IN FERGUSON SPEAKS TO ‘BROADER ISSUES’

Too soon?
