Mid-Morning Market Update: Markets Open Lower; AutoZone Posts Upbeat Results

ChemoCentryx (NASDAQ: CCXI) shares jumped 65.70% to $7.44 as primary endpoint achieved in Phase II CCX140 trial.

Talisman Energy (NYSE: TLM) rose 36.31% to $5.03. Repsol finalized €4 billion offer for Talisman Energy, according to Spain’s publication ‘Expansion.’

China HGS Real Estate (NASDAQ: HGSH) climbed 32.65% to $4.06 after the company reported full year financial results for the fiscal year 2014.

Miller Energy Resources (NYSE: MILL) shares rose 12.90% to $1.40. Miller Energy announced the close of its acquisition of Savant.

Adobe Systems (NASDAQ: ADBE) shares gained 7.26% to $74.80 after the company posted better-than-expected fourth-quarter results and announced its plans to acquire privately-held Fotolia for around $800 million in cash.

GoPro (NASDAQ: GPRO) shares rose 2.78% to $61.72 after JP Morgan upgraded the stock from Neutral to Overweight.
