Pre-open movers

US stock futures traded higher in early pre-market trade. Gold futures gained 2.04% to trade at $1,197.40 an ounce. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 28 points to 18,016.00, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 index futures rose 2.90 points to 2,081.70. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 12.25 points to 4,294.75.

European markets are closed today.

In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei Stock Average jumped 0.06%, China’s Shanghai Composite Index climbed 2.77% and India’s Sensex rose 0.12%.

Broker Recommendation
Argus Research maintained Nike, Inc. (NYSE: NKE) with a Buy and raised the price target from $102.00 to $110.00.

Nike’s shares gained 0.33% to close at $96.29 on Wednesday.
