FOX Business Network (FBN) continued its winning streak over CNBC, sweeping the network in Business Day viewers during the week of August 28th-September 1st, according to Nielsen Media Research.

With markets in flux due to Hurricane Harvey and the August jobs report, FBN’s Business Day coverage saw a 33 percent advantage over rival CNBC’s with 226,000 in total viewers compared to 170,000 for the week, and a 15 percent advantage in the A25-54 demo with 30,000 viewers compared to CNBC’s 26,000. This is FBN’s seventh full weekly sweep this year and 13th consecutive weekly win in Business Day viewers over the legacy brand CNBC.

For 54th consecutive week, Lou Dobbs Tonight (7-8p/ET) was the number one rated news program in business television with 278,000 total viewers, as well as the week’s leading business news program in the 25-54 demo with 37,000 total viewers.

Along with Dobbs, FBN’s Varney & Co (9a-12p/ET), CAVUTO Coast to Coast (12-2p/ET), The Intelligence Report with Trish Regan (2-3p/ET), Countdown to Closing Bell (3-4p/ET), and Risk & Reward (5-6p/ET) were the six top-rated business programs for the week. Additionally, Risk & Reward (5-6p/ET) dominated it’s CNBC competition in total viewers for the 17th consecutive week.
