FactSet Research Systems Inc (NYSE: FDS) reported a 4% rise in its fiscal fourth-quarter profit.
FactSet Research reported its quarterly profit at $40.9 million, or $0.88 per share, up from $39.3 million, or $0.83 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue climbed 14% to $191.9 million.
Professionals using FactSet surged 5% to 48,100 over the previous three months.
FactSet Research expected Q1 earnings of $0.98 to $1 per share on $195 million to $198 million in revenue. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.98 per share on $196 million in revenue.
FactSet Research shares gained 0.79% to $89.51 in pre-market trading.
