Neocons Are Winning? America’s Fear Of North Korea Is Rising

Are you scared enough yet?

As ISIS have lost swathes of territory across the Middle East, including the key cities of Mosul and Raqqa, Statista’s Niall McCarthy notes that fewer Americans consider the group an immediate threat to the United States. Back in July, 28 percent of people considered ISIS the greatest immediate threat to the U.S. and that has now fallen to 19 percent, according to an NBC News poll.

But the fearmongering neocons appear to be making progress as more Americans think North Korea is the greatest immediate to their country and that share has been rising.

You will find more statistics at Statista

Back in July, 41 percent of respondents said North Korea is the greatest immediate threat but as sabre-rattling between Pyongyang and Washington has escalated, that has now gone up to 54 percent.
