Former CIA Director John Brennan is clear about his opinion of Trump, in tweets. Responding to this ridiculous statement:
Why did the Obama Administration start an investigation into the Trump Campaign (with zero proof of wrongdoing) long before the Election in November? Wanted to discredit so Crooked H would win. Unprecedented. Bigger than Watergate! Plus, Obama did NOTHING about Russian meddling.

Brennan tweets back:
This tweet is a great example of your paranoia, constant misrepresentation of the facts, and increased anxiety and panic (rightly so) about the Mueller investigation. When will those in Congress and the 30 percent of Americans who still support you realize you are a charlatan?

Last July, Brennan commented to CNN's Wolf Blitzer at the Aspen Security Forum, "I think it's the obligation of some executive branch officials to refuse to carry that out [fire Mueller]. I would just hope that this is not going to be a partisan issue. That Republicans, Democrats are going to see that the future of this government is at stake and something needs to be done for the good of the future."
In February, Brennan criticized House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, calling the four-page "FISA memo" created by Nunes' staffers "exceptionally partisan" and adding that Nunes has "abused the office" by refusing to allow Democrats on his committee to release their rebuttal document to the public.
