    The article seems to miss some important points. Yes, new jobs will be created by automation. But many more will be lost. Furthermore, the jobs that are lost are often low skill jobs. Those are the easiest to replace with automation. When those people are displaced they rarely find other work that pays as well. This will have (has) long reaching economic ramifications. It has been said before, but if no one is actually employed in the factories who will buy the product?
