Benzinga Pro’s Stocks To Watch For Thursday
- Microsoft (MSFT) - Shares were down 3.5% following a warning the company will not achieve its Q3 guidance for its “More Personal Computing” segment. The company said its supply chain operations were returning to normal operations at a slower-than-expected pace amid the coronavirus outbreak.
- JC Penney (JCP) - The company reported Q4 adjusted earnings of $0.13/share vs the analyst consensus estimate of a $0.06/share loss. Shares were up 4% following the results.
- Alpha Pro Tech (APT) - The stock was up 36% following news the company received $14 million in face mask orders over the last month. The company said it will be able to fulfill $4 million of those orders over the next month.
- Best Buy (BBY) - Shares were down 1.5% following better-than-expected Q4 results and mixed guidance.
- Tonix Pharma (TNXP) - Thursday morning’s biggest winner, Tonix shares were up 84% on continued momentum following news Wednesday the company will undertake a research collaboration with Southern Research to develop a potential vaccine for the coronavirus. We did not see any new news specifically related to the company Thursday morning.
