O2Micro® International Limited (Nasdaq: OIIM) was issued 20 claims under United States patent number 8,111,017 for its Circuits and Methods for LED Free Dimming™ control.

Free Dimming is O2Micro’s dimming technology built into a LED light source. It allows the end-user to toggle dimming control using a standard on/off wall switch.
