    Good morning!  

    Had a little dip after disappointing GDP number but recovering quickly because, after all, it was the weather! 

    • Q4 GDP (third estimate) +2.6% vs. +2.7% consensus, prior estimate of +2.4% and +4.1% in Q3.
    • Q4 Corporate Profits: +$47.1B vs  +$39.2B prior.
    • Initial Jobless Claims: -10K to 311K vs. 323K consensus, 321k prior revised.
    • Continuing claims -53K to 2.82M.

    See, Corporate Profits are up and that's all that matters in America, isn't it?  We'll just have to watch our lines and see which way things go but, after yesterday's massive decline/advance ratio (see early morning comments and charts), I think there's still gotta be some downward pressure to work off.  

    The House actions came as President Obama, under increasing pressure from Hispanic groups, promised in an Oval Office meeting with top members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, to find more humane ways to handle deportations. Deportations have been far higher under his presidency than under Republican George W. Bush.
