ConAgra Foods Inc (NYSE: CAG) surged 7.6 percent to $46.39. ConAgra reported better-than-expected earnings for its first quarter, but sales missed expectations.
Nimble Storage Inc (NYSE: NMBL) gained 5.8 percent to $8.58. Wells Fargo upgraded Nimble Storage from Market Perform to Outperform.
Accenture Plc (NYSE: ACN) shares surged 5.4 percent to $123.00 after the company reported better than expected results for the fourth quarter. The company’s outlook for the fiscal year 2017 is in line with the estimates.
TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: AMTD) shares rose 5.3 percent to $34.52. Bloomberg reported that Scottrade Financial Services is working with an advisor to explore a sale and TD Ameritrade is said to be a potential buyer.
Himax Technologies, Inc. (ADR) (NASDAQ: HIMX) shares gained 4 percent to $8.63. Himax reiterated its guidance for the third quarter. Roth Capital initiated coverage on Himax Technologies with a Buy rating and a $10.00 price target.
eBay Inc (NASDAQ: EBAY) rose 2.6 percent to $32.69. Deutsche Bank upgraded eBay from Hold to Buy and raised the price target from $30.00 to $40.00.
