Gaza – June 26, 2024 [Note: no sound] Hamas militants launched mortars at Israeli troops escorting a United Nations humanitarian aid convoy in the central Gaza Strip, the military reports. The IDF and COGAT were coordinating a UNICEF convoy aimed at reuniting children from northern Gaza with their families in the south. Footage released by the IDF shows mortars striking dangerously close to soldiers and a UN vehicle. Despite the attack, the convoy proceeded along its route as planned, with no injuries reported.
