Chairman and CEO Jon Corzine and MF Global’s (NYSE: MF) Board spent Saturday trying to work out a deal to sell all or part of the company, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Among the companies said to be involved in a possible deal include: Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS), State Street (NYSE: STT), Macquarie Group (MQBKY) and J.C. Flowers, holders of a 6% stake in MF Global.
