Blackrock’s (NYSE: BLK) Larry Fink came on CNBC earlier to give his outlook on the markets.

Fink stated that the biggest risk that currently exists for investors is to not make decisions. He urged investors sitting on the sidelines to act now.

Fink stated that there was a danger to being underinvested. With individuals living longer, they will need returns on their investments. He stated that someone is currently 38 or 42 years old right now only has a small window of time to build their nest egg.

Fink recommended multinational corporations, particularly those paying dividends.

Many opportunities to invest, but investors should think about needs at retirement and how are you going to get there. There is a cost to own cash. 38 and 42 year olds not investing are sacrificing potential gains.

Since the start of the year, the market has seen particularly low levels of volume. Fink touched on this, stating that it was a sign of tremendous fear. Fink said that this low volume extends beyond investors to CEOs and companies, as many companies are sitting on millions in cash.
