Shares of PetSmart (NASDAQ: PETM) are trading lower in the after-hours following the release of the company’s Q4 earnings results. Currently, shares are lower by 0.61%, trading at $55.40; they ended the regular session higher by 0.02%, at $55.74.
PetSmart reported Q4 EPS of $0.91 on revenues of $1.64 billion; the Street was looking for $0.90 per share on revenues of $1.62 billion. Revenues increased 7.8% year over year.
“We are pleased to report another quarter of solid earnings growth,” said Bob Moran, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
“2011 was a great year overall, with even more stories of innovation and differentiation in our stores.”
The company sees FY 2013 $EPS in the range of $3.02-3.16.
