Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTG) announced today that a subsidiary has acquired rights to 6 prominent patent portfolios comprising 68 patents covering a wide range of software technologies relating to business intelligence and data analysis, office productivity, virtualization, graphical user interfaces, search, and software development.
