MaxLinear, Inc. (NYSE: MXL) announced today that it has filed a declaratory judgment complaint in United States District Court against Silicon Laboratories, Inc. as defendant to obtain a ruling that MaxLinear products, such as the MxL301 and MxL601 tuner ICs, do not infringe nineteen (19) patents owned by the defendant. The declaratory judgment complaint further seeks a ruling that the defendant’s patents are invalid.
