Chinese internet company Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU) released its fiscal second-quarter earnings results after the closing bell on Monday. Baidu reported net income attributable to the company of $436.0 million, or $1.24 per share. Adjusted earnings were $444.5 million or $1.26 per share. This compared to Wall Street analysts’ consensus EPS estimates of $1.12.
Total revenues in the quarter were $858.8 million. This compared to Street consensus revenue estimates of $850.78 million.
Looking ahead, BIDU said that it expects revenue between $983.0 million to $1.009 billion in the third-quarter. Currently, analysts have consensus revenue estimates of $988.03 million for the third-quarter.
In the after-hours trading session, BIDU jumped around 6% to $113.70.
