A source closed to the situation told Benzinga that Baidu’s Chief Scientist, William Chang, resigned in April. This was in response to a report by Marbridge Daily on Wednesday.
The source told Benzinga the Mr. Chang was not involved in any critical work or work of any consequence.
Baidu closed at $107.09 Wednesday, down $2.72.
