Autodesk (NASDAQ: ADSK) released its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings results after the closing bell on Monday. In the wake of the report, the stock was trading down around 4 percent in the after-hours session.
The company reported net income of $74.5 million or $0.32 per share, compared to $72.0 million or $0.31 per share, in last year’s corresponding quarter.
On an adjusted basis, Autodesk reported earnings of $120.8 million or $0.53 per share, compared to $105.8 million or $0.46 per share, in last year’s fourth-quarter. This beat analysts’ consensus EPS estimates of $0.49.
Total revenue was $606.9 million versus $592.4 million last year. This easily beat consensus Wall Street estimates of $586.16 million.
Looking ahead to the first-quarter, Autodesk said that it expects adjusted earnings per share of $0.41-0.46. Revenues are expected to be $570 million to $590 million. This compares to current consensus of $0.51 on sales of $590.61 million.
