There’s a lot of blame to spread around, not all of it to the banks, some it goes to the homeowners and houseflippers, unfortunately there’s no perfect answer. But Joe makes some good points:
The whole housing market, e.g., "The Supreme Court ruled that the plaintiffs should actually get their homes back, which should also strike terror into the heart of anyone who bought a foreclosed home at any point." And, "With this ruling, you’re left with the problem that people who didn’t pay their mortgages get to keep their houses because of paperwork mistakes, which is an unjust remedy."
