This article is an excellent example of what newspapers do. They print drummed up paranoid conspiracy theories especially chosen to prey on the public’s nightmares in this case the nightmare scenario being no gas to drive to the beach or fly to sunnier climes for a holiday for the newpapers cheap publicity. And the formula is,
Printed crap = more publicity
More publicity = Higher sales revenue
And don’t let truth get in the way.
Btw the world has proven reserves for 400 years at the current consumption levels and 200 years at twice the current consumption. So we can all drive to the beach or fly away to wherever for as long as we wish at current prices that SHOULD BE LESS!
