  2. Video / Phil – Very good!  I am going to send this to my kids (again).  BTW – I like the animation vs. some boring power point presentation.

  3. 10 Famous Psychological Experiments That Could Never Happen Today

  4. Great!  We're already working on the second in the series. As we get a little more practice, hopefully we can get smoother at if.

  5. Phil—video was great—-going to send it out to people who will be very interested in this trading strategy and want to be more  involved  in their investments

  6. Reviewing the video again:  What is PEG and where to find it on a company?

  7. Phil

This is GREAT very easy to understand

  8. PEG – Never mind, found it!

  9. Phil/ Video – It is a commendable start. I have commissioned similar media in my professional life – personally  I think the company you are using is not one of the best – there are better examples around on the web.

Regarding the 40% – I think you will have to provide a disclaimer (it may be there but I did not see it) that these are theoretical returns if the trade examples in the video were to be realised using actual trades. I could show you a trading methodology which delivers a 100% return – just buy stocks that double in price (and I could refer back to many examples of this which have happened over the last two years) – but showing a track record of actually making those trades would be more difficult. I think the covered call strategy is great – I use the synthetic approach all the time (thanks to you), but probably the most challenging aspect is repairing trades that do not conform to the expected outcome.

  10. Very nice video Phil. Imagine the impact if you could write a (e)book in this format. You could probably pull it off in iBooks but that would reduce the number of people that could access it.

  11. Video/Winston – I assume it can be done better but this is part of a fast and cheap series to try this format.  Clearly this is one video taken out of context and we will be adding more "chapters" as we go forward.  I'd like to see what you've done so please post a link and, if you don't mind, give me an idea of the cost.  Our intention is to do a couple of dozen of these – if they get good feedback, of course, so the budget starts to matter.

I agree that repairing trades is the thing people need to learn but that's how we end up with the STP showing negative while hundreds of other trades quietly make profits with no fanfare.  To that end, I'm considering just getting back to the boring old basics and only doing the risky stuff with HNW people who request it in future.

  12. Phil, getting back to the old boring basics sounds like a good idea if it could generate reliable returns with limited risk (butterfly is nice!). Of course, it'd also be nice if you could find high probability quick trade occasionally. Thanks!

  13. More disruptive technology via smartphone and 3D printer:

Think there are many here who like boring investing because they are too busy working on the other hedge (work) to engage in the fun of the STP.
