Raptor Pharmaceuticals’ Procysbi Rumored On United’s Excluded Drug List

Shares of Raptor Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: RPTP) fell as much as 4.2% today according to Bloomberg.

Raptor’s Procysbi is rumored to be placed on UnitedHealth Group Inc.’s (NYSE: UNH) excluded drug list on January 1st. JMP Securities researched United’s pharmacy benefit update for 2014 and saw Procysbi on both the prior authorization list and the lust to possibly be excluded from some plans.

JMP still recommends Raptor Pharmaceuticals ahead of year-end earnings and (unlikely) potential that Procysbi benefits individuals with Huntington’s Disease with data to be reported in the first quarter.

Raptor closed at $13.11 on Monday, down 3.53%.
