Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) didn’t have any major products to unveil this week, but the Mac maker did make one major announcement.

Once again, Apple has set a new record for quarterly iPhone sales.

Meanwhile, Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) got out of the smartphone manufacturing business and sold Motorola Mobility to Lenovo (OTC: LNVGY).

Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) was rumored to be developing a game console (again!).

Super Bowl ticket prices were down in the secondary market.

Piracy skyrocketed for all of ABC’s shows.

Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) could be on the verge of a new CEO.

Samsung (OTC: SSNLF) announced its plans to release a 4K smartphone in 2015.

And Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) unveiled a new app.
