Big government / pstas – Conservatives are only worried about big government when they are not in power. As charts show over and over again, they love their big spending too. They just have different priorities – they like defense contractors, big ag, bankers and oil companies. Liberals like the other 99% better.
Now to make everybody happy I would suggest that instead of giving poor people food stamps, we give them shares of HAL, XOM, GS or any of these guys – for example, you don't get $300, we give you 3 share of XOM. And to compensate for dilution, we split the food stamp budget as subsidies for these big companies. I am sure that the food stamp budget would not shrink after that. Most likely would grow each year so that we can help the poor people
