The tech industry remained calm this week as most of the big players prepared for their fall events.

Apple’s (NASDAQ: AAPL) highly anticipated iPhone 6 still remains a mystery, but a related rumor made headlines this week.

Not to be outdone, the long-waited iWatch also made the news after AU Optronics (NYSE: AUO) was expected to begin producing smartwatch display panels.

Elsewhere, Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) announced a new mobile payment service. The online retail giant also got into a fight with Disney (NYSE: DIS).
