Ok…now I’m getting frustrated.  I assume you’re referring to the Stoch RSI when you say MOM Stoch 14.  I have SS-Pro and there are 4 different Stoch options, non being a MOM stoch option.  Currently I’m using the Stoch RSI and there is only on occilating line so I don’t understand the Z pattern that you are referring to.   Does Phil allow screenshots on this forum?  I’d love to see a screen of your primary chart for reference.

Good point Phil. The gaming industry has probably seen a small decline, but I tend to think its really minimal. The apps are simply not on the same playing field with your highly complex and over the top graphics on these playing systems. The gaming industry continues to grow each year, but it is something to keep in mind for five years. How much more advance can apps get, especially with 4G?

GoT — Kudos to the producers for outside the box story-telling and getting rid of 2 major characters (although they were getting somewhat boring).  Feel a bit badly about her kids. .  Ironically (or not), the banquet is an analogue to the "banksters" and the market ("we're throwing a great party, and you're invited.")    Where in the world is Jaime Lannister?

I believe TEVA might be a good play today – do you have an artificial Buy/Write play you like?

AAPL/DC – Everyone likes to see the big guy fail.  I remember when IBM rolled out the PC Jr and they got trashed for it.  Desktop PCs – how ridiculous.

Oil/Bruce – Very tricky ahead of inventories but a very likely short on any bump before or after as $106.50 is still the right max (given current Syria news, etc.) and I'll be very surprised if they hold it.

DELL/Shadow – He lost that fight ages ago.  Only finally giving up.

    Vegas/Savi – Thanks.

/NQ/STP, Bruce – Below our target 3,165 now.  Same as oil, we can get back in below each ,005 line.

By the way, speaking of Vegas – THIS is why being able to trade Futures is so valuable.  The margin on the /NQs is $2,400 per contract and my call was to take 10 of them this morning AFTER we saw AAPL fall hard BECAUSE we KNOW that it will drag the Nasdaq down.  That's why I was able to make a SUPER-CONFIDENT call to short 10 of the Nasdaq Futures (/NQ) for the STP to offset our AAPL longs.

Even if you didn't have AAPL longs – what an easy way to make money.  The same thing happens when we have pre or post-market news about a Dow component moving – we can't trade the stock, we can't trade DIA or adjust our own positions but we CAN trade the Futures.  It's a very valuable tool to have in your portfolio belt and it's what we're going to be showing you in Las Vegas – as well as our usual nonsense, of course…

MSFT/Arivera – Well, at least he's a guy who turned around a disaster but it is like hiring Michael Jordan to play baseball.  Oh wait, they did that…

Hype/StJ – That's true, Jobs was a master and now the apprentices are trying to copy and falling short.  There's some truth in that parody though – the phone is great and there's not much you can do to improve it other than mess around with colors, sizes and pricing.  Look at the

Visualizing How Much Oil Is In An Electric Vehicle?

Courtesy of ZeroHedge. View original post here.

When most people think about oil and natural gas, the first thing that comes to mind is the gas in the tank of their car. But, as Visual Capitalist's Nicholas LePan notes, there is actually much more to oil’s role, than meets the eye...

Oil, along with natural gas, has hundreds of different uses in a modern vehicle through petrochemicals.

Today’s infographic comes to us from American Fuel & Petrochemicals Manufacturers, and covers why oil is a critical mate...

DAX (Germany) About To Send A Bearish Message To The S&P 500?

Courtesy of Chris Kimble.

Is the DAX index from Germany about to send a bearish message to stocks in Europe and the States? Sure could!

This chart looks at the DAX over the past 9-years. It’s spent the majority of the past 8-years inside of rising channel (1), creating a series of higher lows and higher highs.

It looks to have created a “Double Top” as it was kissing the underside of the rising channel last year at (2).

After creating the potential double top, the DAX index has continued to create a series of lower highs, while experiencing a bearish divergence with the S...

Despacito - How to Make Money the Old-Fashioned Way - SLOWLY!

Are you ready to retire?

For most people, the purpose of investing is to build up enough wealth to allow you to retire.  In general, that's usually enough money to reliably generate a year's worth of your average income, each year into your retirement so that that, plus you Social Security, should be enough to pay your bills without having to draw down on your principle.

Unfortunately, as the last decade has shown us, we can't count on bonds to pay us more than 3% and the average return from the stock market over the past 20 years has been erratic - to say the least - with 4 negative years (2000, 2001, 2002 and 2008) and 14 positives, though mostly in the 10% range on the positives.  A string of losses like we had from 2000-02 could easily wipe out a decades worth of gains.

Still, the stock market has been better over the last 10 (7%) an...

It's Not Capitalism, it's Crony Capitalism

A good start from :

It's Not Capitalism, it's Crony Capitalism

The threat to America is this: we have abandoned our core philosophy. Our first principle of this nation as a meritocracy, a free-market economy, where competition drives economic decision-making. In its place, we have allowed a malignancy to fester, a virulent pus-filled bastardized form of economics so corrosive in nature, so dangerously pestilent, that it presents an extinction-level threat to America – both the actual nation and the “idea” of America.

This all-encompassing mutant corruption saps men’s souls, crushes opportunities, and destroys economic mobility. Its a Smash & Grab system of ill-gotten re...
