Good luck on your knee. It is hard to believe how good they have gotten on knees and how bad shoulder recovery still is.
Nice explanation above on bcs vs bw.
I bought WPZ and OKS (but not OKE) on the dip. I have a spreadsheet with certain criteria I load from a companies financials when evaluating any dividend stock. I mainly look for growing cash flows and low interest payments on their debt which helps to ensure future dividends. I also look at historical dividend payment history and potential dividend growth. Anyway, both stocks I bought met all of my screen criteria and I was just waiting for something to get cheap and it just happened to be these 2. In the USA their are certain tax issues with buying MLP's, which is why some investors would opt for OKE over OKS.
WPZ just merged with another pipeline company which lowered their yield some, but I believe them to be a good pick for several years out. They should have very good cash flows going forward with their 15 year agreements they have in place.
OKS and their parent OKE have a large presence in my area. If you live in the Kansas/Oklahoma part of the country and pay a Natural Gas Bill, it goes to those guys.
