Priceline Group Inc (NASDAQ: PCLN) shares were trading lower by $13.50 (1.2 percent) at $1164.66 in Monday’s session. There is no specific news to explain the decline, aside from the fact it may be being dragged down with the sell-off in the broader market.
After a flat open, it could not reclaim Friday’s closing price of $1165, only reaching $1164.92 before heading lower. So far, it reached $1162.09 and was attempting to mount a rally.
The current intraday low coincides with its June 2 low ($1161.56), which represents it lowest level since falling from the $1280 level, when the Street was not satisfied with its Q1 results.
