You may be wondering what Martin Shkreli is doing these days, so here it is. While out on bail, facing charges for securities fraud, Shkreli is busy livestreaming his life on YouTube. In "Meet Martin Shkreli, Internet Star," Yahoo reports that Shkreli plays computer chess, guitar and chats with his fans. Like a rather normal person. He may be trying to demonstrate his humanness to the world. But who knows.
Recall: Shkreli, the former CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals (now being investigated by the FTC for antitrust violations), is widely known for acquiring rights to and then raising the price of Daraprim, an anti-toxoplasmosis drug used by AIDs patients, by 5,500%. He was, very briefly, the CEO of the bankrupt biotech KaloBios after buying a majority of the company and causing a spectacular short squeeze in the shares.
