Stock Market Profits

Its no secret, that those who know how, invest in the stock market. The stock market is a vast pot of wealth that seems likes it's there for the taking. But, without the proper research, and knowledge it is very hard to take advantage of this opportunity.

In addition, one of the biggest misconceptions we run into is that you must trade stocks. I used to be a stock trader myself, and in some cases, I still do hold some stocks, but once I learned about options there was no turning back. Options, which were created to hedge one's self against loss are what I consider the secret to "Stock Market Profits." Options, also called derivatives, allow you to:

  • Leverage Capital - because you don't actually purchase the underlying stock, you can leverage a much smaller amount of money, but still profit the same as if you had actually
  • Hedge Yourself Against Loss - essentially, stock insurance, you can set a bottom and a ceiling with options ensuring you never loss too much
  • Eliminate Greed in Trading - set a ceiling to make sure you get out at a predetermined point.
  • Much More...

Philstockworld.com and all of our members is setup to support your education and development of your trading skills. Unlike many sites out there we are advocating trading ability, not just technique. We don't care what software you use, but we'll help you spot the movements and make the trades so that you too can see Stock Market Profits!

What Our Subscribers Have To Say:

This is why I love this site. Blunt truth. While all these financial thieves don their $150 Armani ties and tell you to stay calm, much like the day after 9/11, you tell people to save themselves. Your site is quite possibly one of the best blogs around. Thanks for keeping it "real" and educating many of us lemmings. Keep up the good work.

I have paid many dollars for education, coaching and stupidity! I have also followed dozens of advisories, coaches and newsletters. This is by far the most educational site with the best strategy for this type of whipsaw market! I've already started recommending you to my trading buddies. You better get this site ready for some major traffic as people catch on to what you're doing!

The Picks: the real reason you're here. For a detailed overview, check out our past performance.

Please note: Performance is calculated as a percentage gain from the basis at the time the position is closed.  In no way should you get the impression that your entire virtual portfolio can get these returns every week.

Not all trades are taken by all people and not all traders choose to (or have the clearance to) sell options against other positions or have the capital available to add money to trades - all this impacts your individual ability to profit under some aspects of our system.  We have long, short and mid-term trading opportunities for all types of traders!

A sample of the trade ideas our members receive:

The best of the worst, to me, is P&G, and not just because they are literally throwing in the towel - selling their European towel unit, which gives me an excuse to put up another picture of Towelie, but because they've done an amazing job integrating Gillette already, growing net income from $1.7Bn a quarter (average) in '05 to $2.7Bn in Q3 and $2.8Bn in Q4 and they already have a 23% market share in developing countries and the management expects to "derive $14Bn to $16B in synergies from this (Gillette) combination over time. While they may dip down and test the 200 dma at $61 (they've come so close, why not at least pay a visit?), we can start accumulating PG for our virtual Long-Term Virtual Portfolio by picking up the Jan '09 $65 calls for $5.70. We will wait to sell calls against it but if this is a real rally, these guys should come out like champs over time. On Feb 20th, these contracts were trading at $7.75!

Trade Alerts: daily and intraday trade alerts appear on our site in real time! Sample intraday alert:

Trading community: every trading day, our members swap ideas, advice, and post trades of their own. Phil responds to questions and ideas, often in real time. No other newsletter service gives its members this level of access and interactivity!

Virtual Portfolio tracker: our virtual portfolio tracking system keeps you up to date on the status of past and current picks so you'll never be left wondering what to do.

Virtual Portfolio management tools: because we're all at different stages of the game, we offer trades and strategies for those who want to take a longer or less volatile approach. We specialize in calendar spreads and income-producing strategies.

Forum: our members-only message board has a whole section devoted to analyzing individual stocks and companies, and includes discussion of trading strategies and other tips.

Research: We publish periodic in-depth reports on industry trends, specific companies, and macroeconomic factors that influence our trading.

In a crisis, time is not on your side.

A crisis creates a vacuum, an informational void that gets filled one way or another. The longer a company or other organization at the center of the crisis waits to communicate, the more likely that void will be filled by critics.

That’s exactly what&...

US Home Price Growth Slowest Since 2012

Courtesy of ZeroHedge. View original post here.

Following disastrous starts and permits data, Case Shiller's home price index was expected to show growth continuing to slow. and it did, considerably worse than expected.

Case-Shiller's 20-City Composite grew at just 3.58% YoY in January (well below the 3.8% YoY expectation and December's 4.14% YoY print). This is the weakest annual growth since September 2012, decelerating for a 10th month in January as buyers held out for more affordable properties.

Weekly Market Recap Mar 24, 2019

Courtesy of Blain.

It was looking like another week of Federal Reserve Kool Aid and crushing bears .. until Friday.  On the back of bad economic news out Europe, the yield curve inverted on the 3 month vs 10 year bond – before you fall asleep to that news, it is a quite important indicator for the economy (not necessarily the stock market… yet).   More on that in a bit.  As you can see the action in the bond market Friday was quite severe so it will be interesting to see the move in the coming few days.

As for the Federal Reserve:

The Federal Reserve signaled no more increase in interest rates this year and just one in 2020, according to its new ‘dot plot,’ and the bank said it would...

Despacito - How to Make Money the Old-Fashioned Way - SLOWLY!

Are you ready to retire?

For most people, the purpose of investing is to build up enough wealth to allow you to retire.  In general, that's usually enough money to reliably generate a year's worth of your average income, each year into your retirement so that that, plus you Social Security, should be enough to pay your bills without having to draw down on your principle.

Unfortunately, as the last decade has shown us, we can't count on bonds to pay us more than 3% and the average return from the stock market over the past 20 years has been erratic - to say the least - with 4 negative years (2000, 2001, 2002 and 2008) and 14 positives, though mostly in the 10% range on the positives.  A string of losses like we had from 2000-02 could easily wipe out a decades worth of gains.

Still, the stock market has been better over the last 10 (7%) an...

Mapping The Market

It's Not Capitalism, it's Crony Capitalism

A good start from :

It's Not Capitalism, it's Crony Capitalism

Excerpt:

The threat to America is this: we have abandoned our core philosophy. Our first principle of this nation as a meritocracy, a free-market economy, where competition drives economic decision-making. In its place, we have allowed a malignancy to fester, a virulent pus-filled bastardized form of economics so corrosive in nature, so dangerously pestilent, that it presents an extinction-level threat to America – both the actual nation and the “idea” of America.

This all-encompassing mutant corruption saps men’s souls, crushes opportunities, and destroys economic mobility. Its a Smash & Grab system of ill-gotten re...
