Sell Short HST
We are going to sell short HST at the current price level, which is $14.80 as I write this.
Host Hotels & Resorts is a REIT that owns and operates resorts. It is rated SELL by the Sabrient Ratings Algorithm, and it carries an Outlook score of 3, a Value Score of 8, and a Growth Score of 10 — all on a scale of 0 to 100 (with 100 the best). After a weak rally attempt this month, it appears to be rolling over again, with a downside target at its 200-day moving average, which currently sits at $12.50.
Note that it will pay a small $0.01 dividend to owners of record on June 30, which short sellers would be responsible for paying.
I’ll keep a mental stop at a closing price above yesterday’s high of $15.91.
