It’s that kind of day where government and banks are closed but the market is open. Add to that high stock prices and tension before the earnings tsunami this week makes it a tough day to trade.

Most of the important news this week will come with earnings reports and the usual assortment of economic releases not to mention unknown events from the news cycle. Today is just the warm-up for the action to come.

Volume was almost too low to mention. Breadth was unremarkable.
