Brazilian financial market analysts and economists lowered their 2012 average inflation projections, according to a market survey published by the Central Bank of Brazil.
Brazilian economists now project the country’s inflation to average 5.29% this year, versus their prior forecast of 5.3%.
Analysts now expect this year’s foreign-trade surplus to rise to $19.60 billion, versus $19.10 billion. Analysts project Brazil to post a current-account deficit of $65.90 billion at the end of this year.
