    Plug Power turns sharply lower as non-binding fuel cell JV fails to excite

    • Plug Power (PLUG -3.2%) shares continue their volatile ways, as investors are disappointed with the result of the company’s hyped conference call this morning.
    • PLUG says it signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Hyundai Hysco to create a joint venture partnership to develop and sell hydrogen fuel cells in countries throughout Asia.
    • Under the terms of the MOU, the companies must finalize the details of the joint venture by July 31.
    • Also says its goal is $150M in 2014 bookings after totaling ~$80M YTD.
